The Truth About Love: Why Are We Not Satisfied?

I close my eyes and my thoughts wandered deep into the abyss of my soul. Kevin Kern on his piano awakens the spirit deep within me and dances with my soul until they become one. And all those thoughts that lies topsy turvy inside my head, slowly unravel themselves and forms into sentences.

Alas, I understood the irony of love. One question that leads to several answers but what is the ultimately truth? How can one person trust the intensity of his emotions? Why would he decide to change his status from being single to being married only to find out that this is not really what he bargained for? How can he for one second think that he is on top of the world for finding his partner only to realize in the middle of his life that he is not satisfied and is dying inside? What leads him to find another subject/creature thinking that this is it, this might be the right person? How can he look at what is missing inside, outside of himself? Aren't we all funny? We accumulate the best years of our lives trying to find the answers in the wrong places. Then some of us gets old without having to enjoy life to the fullest because we refuse look deep within ourselves. It is only when you digested everything that has been revealed to you that you begin to look at life differently and follow the path that leads to freedom.

They say that love is the greatest scarcity in the world. Everything in this world existed for only one reason...LOVE. Creation was initiated in the hope to exchange love with human kind. The One who created us has all the answers to the LOVE question. It is profoundly deep yet simple. Let me illustrate. When God created you, He put a barrel size love tank for Him to fill. No humans can ever fill this love tank. This is a Creator-creation relationship, exclusive and quite personal just between you and Him. Like champagne glasses on top of each other, this barrel is on top of this tiny love glasses that is intended for creation-creation kind of love. The kind of love that we have for our parents, siblings, children, friends and lovers. We do things the other way around, we fill in the tiny glasses in the hope that the emptiness we fill would soon be a memory if only we find our one true love. How can you expect this tiny glasses to fill in the barrel? No matter how much you try, you just can't. We are all designed this way.

Did you ever ask yourself why Jesus came on earth? Of course you know Him as the son of God. Do you even know the meaning of the cross? Why did he have to die on that wooden cross? What was it all about? Again, the answer is LOVE. He could have chosen honor and glory yet He chose to die for love...for a relationship with you.

We might for one instance think that we found it in the form of another human soul. But love is so much deeper than that, my friend. The Author of Love also known as GOD is LOVE holds the key to the longing of your heart. He has put that desire in you that you may pant after Him for your own good. You must know Him and pursue Him and He will reward you with His love. The kind of love that is never shaken, unchanging, everlasting and unconditional. Trust the desires of your heart to the One who placed it there. It's alright to ask Him questions...He will answer you. Don't wait until you become so exhausted with a series of mistakes falling from the same old trap.
