Men Are Appetizers!

Men are interesting creatures. Apparently, when God created them I wasn't there yet. I often go back to Genesis to understand how they are wired. After all, that was God's original plan for men. They are created in the image of God just like us women but so much different for they embody masculinity. A lot of things matters to men that we neglect to pay attention. Some of you would like to find a husband and you have no idea what they're made of. You bring in some girly expectations on how a man should treat you without even realizing that relationship/marriage is not just, "c'mon sweep me off my feet, honey" kind of experience. Now, that is darn right selfish, little princess. You must bring in the pot of understanding what matters most to them because in the first place God did not pull you from Adam's rib to be a wife but to be his helper.

MAN FACT

HONOR is of central importance in a man's life. This is the character that defines a man. There is nothing more demeaning to a man than to be disrespected. "My honor is dearer to me than my life."(Cervantes 1547-1616). Honor him and he will honor you. Honor is synonymous to praise. If you want to get things done, praise your man. They like to be appreciated. If you are not convinced, watch Braveheart.

HUNTER is a natural law and no matter what the society dictates, men still love to pursue women on the initial stage of the bumblebee game. Men are natural born hunters. Don't rob them of their joy in chasing you. They can smell desperation from a far and it is utterly undesirable. They like the challenge. They like being in charge. They want to call the shots. They like to earn the rights to be called yours. It's alright to give them little hints that you are interested too but never ever go ahead of yourself. They are afraid of rejection just like us

VISUAL Ahuh! Attraction starts here. They must like what they see before they pursue you. They probably don't talk too much but men are very observant. The way you dress up speaks a lot about you. Don't dress up like you run out of fabric or go to the extremes of dressing like your grandmother. Choose the clothes that compliments you. If your friends like you, it connotes a happy disposition to which most men are attracted to. I don't think, they like you whining about how sorry and miserable your life is. Nobody likes that, girlfriend.

THE PURPOSE OF MAN

1. WORSHIP - When God created Adam he was in the presence of God. He must love the presence of God. Any man who cannot raise his hand to God and give God glory is a no, no. A male cannot function correctly outside the presence of God. Settle that in your mind and list that under non-negotiable.

2. WORK - God gave Adam worked first before he was presented with a woman. work is not a curse but a gift from God. Eve was the Ezer kenegdo (hebrew) helpmate (English). God didn't say wife but helper because there was some cultivating to do.The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. (Gen. 2:15)

3. CULTIVATE - means to bring the best out of something and to add value to it. Adam was the keeper of the Garden of Eden. God never gave man finished product, he didn't give Adam a table, a chair because He has hidden them in a tree. From here you can see the nature of God, He provides but he expects you to be curious and to be creative because He delights in you and celebrates you being in His own image. He is a Creative God, never a boring moment and expects you to be creative as well.

4. PROTECT - men are given extra muscles and physical strenght to protect women and children. Do not use them to hurt your wife or children.

5. TEACHER - God never told Eve anything, it was with Adam that He spoke about taking dominion and about the tree of knowledge of good and evil. What fascinates me is when Adam named the animals, God never opposed and said, "Adam call the Lion by the name of Cockroach because Lion sounds ridiculous." and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. (Gen. 2:19)

NOTE:

Men are appetizers but until then you must be completely hidden in God's love. He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD. Notice, it did not say, "She who finds..." He must find you, it cannot be otherwise. And when one finds something it must be hidden. Maintain that mystery, ladies!
