Life Outside The Box

60

By sheenarobins

Life has always been an exciting journey for me. I had my bad

days but I have this auto-delete system in my brain and I only

remember the good ones. Real life is messy and when you are in

the arena of life, mistakes are inevitable. You can choose to

live in fear but that in itself is a mistake. To say that I

have had bad days is an understatement, those were days I

wished never happened, those were days when all the knowledge

and wisdom that I have accumulated all those years becomes of

no use to me because when a person is all tangled up with their

own emotions they cannot see clearly. Pain is a friend they say,

maybe it is, but it is no comfort. Questions eluded your mind, yet the

answer lies somewhere in time. You stopped dead in your tracks

and begin to pick up the pieces of you that was crushed to the

ground. You take one step at a time, live one day at a time

because the future is far beyond reach and all you can see is

the door that was shut behind you. You long for it to open up again,

perhaps there is a way. But just as suddenly as it was shut you

begin to realize that you no longer hold the key. It is now

your past life.

This is the moment where you pass thru an eye of a needle. The

season where you are being cultivated in the desert. And you

think life is easy? Think again! You must untangle yourself of

the past, unleash the real you that was held captive for so

long. The one who cried in the night because of an unrequited

dream. The one who yearned to live a life and not merely exist.

The one who's passionate to give love and to receive love. This is all

worth it, you reasoned.

But listen...how far can you go? What motivates you? Is it

anger? or it is the ego of vindicating yourself?

Stop!

Because there is a lot that you do not understand. To fight for your

freedom and the right to live is an honorable thing. But this

are all soulish. It needs to be fed with emotions that burns

your heart cold and slowly hardens the outer core that no one

is allowed to get in. Because you acted upon fear; fear of

hurting yourself again, fear of losing your independence. Still

you suffer inside, empty and cold and dark and---alone.

You grasp for air and breathe, there is a new life ahead of

you. You begin to get curious how this all going to end up. You

recall that somebody said. "The wheels are turnin', if you're

down, there's no other way but up." You tell your story to

every living creature just so you could move on and get over

it. Then again, the only time you're really over it is when you

stop talkin' about it because it doesn't matter anymore. You no

longer remember the details of how unfairly you were treated,

you no longer rehearse in your mind what they've done to poor

you, how they betrayed you and toes you aside like an old shoe.

Yes, awakening! That is what they call it. Courage wakes you

up. The end of something that wasn't all worth it is the

beginning of a new thing. There is hope. This is gonna be one heck of a

journey but you commit to making it the best you've ever had.

There is Someone who knows you more than you know yourself. Who

understands what you've been through. Someone who will rejoice

to see you live good days. Someone who longs for you to respond

to His love. After all, you can charge all those pain in the

name of love. A love you never understood. You tried and

thought you know what love is but until you know WHO love is,

you can only give a second rate description of what it is. You

must begin with the source because everything revolves around

Him, in Him and for Him. God is love. This my friend, is

unchangeable.

Whatever you aim for in life it must be fed with one thing and

that is love. Keep your heart free from danger zone. And by

that I mean unforgiveness. Let the love of God flow freely in

your heart and everything else will follow. Use whatever He has

given you to honor Him and He will honor you back. You cannot

outgive Him for even the breath that you take is given to you

by grace. Only One person should sit on the throne of your heart and that is not you or anybody else. Jesus alone. Believe me when I say it's for your own good. Even the wisest amongst us is considered a dummy compared to the wisdom of the One who created everything.

8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the LORD.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. -Isaiah 55:8-9

If His knowledge is as vast as the oceans of the earth, our brain can only scoop a tuna can of that wisdom. Studies says, we are only using ten per cent of our brain. Sadly, some of us is using lesser than ten per cent, remember this next time you start trusting yourself. He is sovereign. The last time I checked, it hasn't changed yet and it never will.

Isaiah54 - you gotta be kidding me...I claimed that verse as mine. lol

5 For your Maker is your husband—

the LORD Almighty is his name—

the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;

he is called the God of all the earth.

6 The LORD will call you back

as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit—

a wife who married young,

only to be rejected,” says your God.

7 “For a brief moment I abandoned you,

but with deep compassion I will bring you back.

8 In a surge of anger

I hid my face from you for a moment,

but with everlasting kindness

I will have compassion on you,”

says the LORD your Redeemer.

I have now changed it to Proverbs 31. :)
