I am Eve

I am Eve.
I am her offspring.
I am His last
crowning act of creation.
I am the completion.

I am a woman.
I am gentle.
I am made to be,
a helper and a mate.
I am the surprise.

I am flesh, immortal.
I am His breath of life.
I am elegant, wonderful
in every curve.
I am the essence of beauty.

I am his replica,
Yet I am different.
I am connected to him.
I can see right through his soul,
For I am the feminine side of God,
taken from his rib,
Fashioned and refined
into a woman.

Together, he and I
We are harmony.
We are perfect in His presence.
Deeply satisfied with His love.

We are sheer innocence.
We are pure bliss.
We are the epitome
of wonderful.
The pride of our Maker.

I have captured his heart,
With a touch of my hand,
a look in my eyes,
a smile on my lips,
he stood speechless.

yet...

I am curious,
to know good and evil.
I want my eyes open
I desire wisdom
from what is forbidden.

I am deceived.
I am ashamed.
I hid myself,
aware that I am naked.
I am afraid.

I am cursed.
I am enmity.
I am pain.
I am banished
from the Presence of God.
I am alone.

I am silent.
I am troubled.
I am aware
that I lost Paradise.
I am disobedient.

I am incomplete
I am lonely.
I am longing
for Your intimacy.
I am sorry.

I am tired.
I am aging.
I am in constant ache
for Your love.
I am dying.

I am Eve.
I have seen Your Holy Face.
I have walked in Your Presence.
I have seen beauty in its splendor.
But I can hardly remember...

I am Eve.
I have seen perfection.
I have known perfect love.
I have shared pure intimacy.
But I can only long for it now...

I am Eve.
I knew how to be a woman.
he is Adam.
he knew how to be a man.
Our hearts know we're destined for eternity.
But we are now confused...

I am Eve.
You know me from the inside.
You created me.
You long for me, too.
I know, because the same Hand
that pointed to the East of Garden of Eden,
and banished me from Your Loving Presence,
is the same Hand that was nailed on the Cross
so I can be with You again.
